"What an exquisite dinner. I don’t think that I have had a better dinner in a long time, and great company too! We chose Cameron’s American Bistro for a couple of reasons. I have eaten there before and love their food. Also, they have a gluten-free menu & as most Cameron Mitchell restaurants, they are well versed on the gluten-free diet."

From Cameron's website:
An American road trip for your palate, Cameron’s American Bistro brings home to Columbus delicious dishes familiar and unfamiliar, from places coastal and landlocked.
Scallops from the Bay Area. Duckling from Indiana. Low country shrimp and grits. Local beef, pork and poultry. It’s ever changing, and brought to Columbus by some of America’s finest chefs, that has inspired a loyal following of diners at this neighborhood favorite and original Cameron Mitchell Restaurant.

We started with a nice bottle of Chateau St. Michelle Riesling. This wine is the perfect pairing for seafood. The wine has a very slight sweet, but crisp taste. We both really enjoyed this wine. For our salads, we both ordered the Chop Chop salad. The salad is a wonderful combination of field greens, asparagus, sweet corn, hard boiled egg, smoked bacon, gorgonzola, red onions, grape tomatoes, dried cherries and golden balsamic vinaigrette. The combinations of all of these different flavors went together so well. The smoky bacon flavor paired with the tart sweetness of the cherries & corn really made this salad.

Blackened Scallops Special
For dinner I ordered the special of the night – blackened sea scallops served with goat cheese & thyme Yukon mashed potatoes, broccoli rabe & a whole grain mustard cream sauce. Our very knowledgeable server, Christy, was quick to mention that she would check with the chef to see if the special was gluten-free. Indeed, it was gluten-free. I have one word. E.X.Q.U.I.S.I.T.E. I have always been a fan of scallops and these were done perfectly. Not overly seasoned & so tender. The mashed potatoes were to die for. They were so creamy & flavorful. I had never tried broccoli rabe before and I loved it!! Almost a cross between broccoli & asparagus. The whole grain mustard cream sauce was the perfect way to finish off this dish.

Meyer Lemon Gratin
For dessert there were 2 gluten-free choices on the menu – CLASSIC CRÈME BRÛLÉE (Chantilly cream and seasonal berries) or MEYER LEMON GRATIN (Lemon cream and raspberries). We decided to split the Meyer Lemon Gratin. The dessert came out & looked so enticing! The top was a crisp sugar that had been torched like a creme brulee; the middle was an amazing lemon cream that reminded me of a crustless cheesecake. Best dessert I think I have had in a long time.

I highly recommend Cameron’s American Bistro to anyone and especially to those needing to eat gluten-free.

"My wife, Dorothy, and I celebrated our wedding annniversary last night at your Linworth location. We agree that the experience was excellent and also we think that it was probably the best ever from the time we were greeted to our exiting."

"My husband and I visited Cameron's for our anniversary last night. We have been to Cap City and The Fish Market and enjoyed them both. But it was our first visit to this restaurant. A co-worker of my husband recomended it to us. It was FANTASTIC! The service was outstanding. The food was incredible. We had a wonderful evening."

"We visited Cameron's on 161 the second time on Saturday, 12/18. As before, the entire experience was excellent. The service, from the hostess to the wait staff was first rate. Also the food. The entire staff was polite, attentive and showed the trait of HUSTLE, a rare commodity these days. As retired McD operators, we tend to notice the little things such as the cleanliness and the fact that all the servers wore their hair tied back. A pleasant experience and a job well done by all, down to the managers who assisted the servers and inquired about the quality of the experience. Our thanks to all for a job well done and a very pleasant evening."

"The new menu is even better than before and the renovations have given that restaurant exactly what it needed. It looks great. Don't worry, the same great staff are all there to take care of you."

"My husband and I have been enjoying the Cameron Mitchell experience since the opening of the Worthington restaurant. We have always had a wonderful dining experience. The staff always remembers us and we are greeted like old friends each time we visit. My husband's brother lives in the Chicago area and is quite "picky" about restaurants--he always makes it a point to dine at Cameron's Worthington when he is in town visiting. As a thank you to those for whom my husband has built homes we always take them to Cameron's restaurant once their home is completed. Those people tend to become faithful customers also. We like to entertain at home and we appreciate that the chefs are willing to share their delicious recipes with their patrons. We do try them at home and enjoy them, but there is nothing like being at your restaurant being "pampered" by your great staff."

"What an incredible dining experience! The new renovation looks incredible and the new menu tastes incredible! Try the Portabella French Fries and the Pinenut crusted Lamb Chops. Our server Tiffany was very genuine and knowledgeable."
